A short 2 to 3 minute legacy video that moves and inspires increases the likelihood that your stakeholders will think about making a legacy gift. Used in combination with the survey, the video will generate many more legacy leads and commitments.
Your video should look at the impact your organization has had on the lives of individuals, its philosophy and its vision for the future. It should feature interviews with former clients, legacy donors, staff and volunteers. At the end of the video, there would be an appeal for a legacy gift.
Supporters who are sent the survey (via an online link in an email) will be asked to watch the video before completing the survey. Surveys that are mailed to supporters can include a DVD of the video.
