It is sent or given to people who ask for legacy giving information and those that have already made a legacy gift commitment. It’s also sent to key estate lawyers and investment advisors.
Why send the legacy booklet to people who have already made a legacy commitment? Because these people need to be shown how their gift will make a difference and how important it is to your organization. An effective legacy booklet will increase the likelihood that a legacy gift commitment is fulfilled. It may also encourage legacy donors to upgrade (increase) their gift.
